About Canberra
Canberra, the national capital, is set on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin and has an abundance of parks, with a population of just over 300,000, it is a small, well planned city with good amenities and a significant international community which includes more than 70 diplomatic missions.

Canberra provides excellent facilities for study, including access to the National Library, the largest in Australia.

For bicycling enthusiasts, Canberra's well-planned bike paths make this a great way to get around.

Average winter temperatures range from 1-11C and summers are fairly warm at 13-28C.
