As Executive Director, University Services, John Cameron is responsible for all non-academic administrative service and support functions of the university and is Company Secretary and Public Officer of Australian Catholic University Limited. In this role, he is also Secretary to the Senate and its Committees and is responsible for all governance and legal matters, including privacy and copyright.

Secretariat

The Secretariat is responsible for:

• servicing Australian Catholic University Limited, University Senate and its committees, and Academic Board and its committees
• maintaining the official records of the Vice-Chancellery
• administering the conduct of elections to Senate and Academic  Board
• providing administrative support to the Vice-Chancellery.

Statistics Unit

The Statistics Unit is responsible for oversight and management of the Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) data collections, the preparation, submission and analysis of the Graduate Careers Council of Australia (GCCA) surveys, and for their distribution within the University. The Unit is also responsible for the collection and analysis of data for inclusion in the University Educational Profile collection, and provides support to academic and administrative units in the analysis and distribution of relevant statistic analysis and reports.
