One Australian university offers a unique combination of academic quality, concern for the welfare of individual students and a choice of campuses in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Ballarat.
ACU National was formed 14 years ago through the amalgamation of four Catholic tertiary institutions with experience and traditions going back to the mid-1800s.
ACU National is a public University, funded by the Australian government. The awards are equivalent to those of other public universities in Australia and are recognised world-wide.
The distance between the campuses is bridged by an increasingly sophisticated system of technology. The University has adopted distance learning technology such as Web-CT, world-wide databases and video conferencing. In this way, students have access across the campuses to expertise and resources, including a library collection of more than 460,000 items.
We have courses that are important to society as well as relevant to a variety of careers. We have staff who are keen to assist international students and to make their stay in Australia as rewarding as possible.
We have just over 11,000 students, with a high staff-to-student ratio. There are international students from 35 countries, who enjoy the warm and supportive environment.
Many students who are not Catholic attend the University. Whatever your beliefs we will respect them in the spirit of tolerance that characterises our University.
We are proud to say that we are a growing University of small campuses, with friendly staff and students in a country that is renowned internationally for its safety and tolerance. Thanks to this environment, the University enjoys high course completion and satisfaction rates.
ACU National and the courses offered by the University are registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). Provider registration codes: 00004G, 00112C, 00873F, 00885B.
