Here’s what some of ACU National’s international students have to say:
|
I wanted to study IT and I chose ACU National because of its great reputation, especially in IT. It has an affordable price and I could fit my uni schedule with my part-time work. So, I’m at the end of my second year and I’m really happy with the quality of the education and the staff know me and people say “Hi, Fernanda”, I just feel like part of a family. Fernanda Cavalari Bachelor of Business Information Systems, Sydney |

I always wanted to study in Australia and I wanted to study nursing. My uncle lived in Australia and he’s a radiographer. He investigated the Australian universities and he found ACU National is the best university that offers nursing courses. I started out in Sydney and then transferred over to Melbourne. The facilities in both campuses are fantastic. I’m really sad because I’ll be leaving the uni in six months and I’m going to miss it, but on the other hand, I’m really, really excited because I’ve already been offered quite a few jobs and I can choose whatever I want to do. ACU National has been a great experience and it’s all been worth it. Nirmala Perera Bachelor of Nursing, Melbourne |

It wasn’t difficult for me to do my Masters at ACU National. The staff are friendly and helpful. Everyone knows me and my degree is recognised internationally. Yaowaporn Vonlertviriyakij Master of Management, Melbourne |

Finding accommodation was easy because the uni put a group of international students together and we split into groups. I did an accounting degree in my country and I chose ACU National for my Masters because the course content was the best fit with the degree I had done before. The lecturers are very helpful and friendly. They help with proofreading if English is not your first language. In my experience, you don’t get this sort of interaction at other unis. Theogene Turatsinze Master of Management, Sydney |

ACU National gave me the opportunity to do work experience with Sony as part of my course. Over the last three years, I’ve studied at the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane campuses of ACU National. You could only do this at a national university. On and off campus, both experiences have been really great. I made a lot of friends and everyone knows me. Milre Felix Bachelor of Business, Brisbane |

One of the great things about studying at a small campus like Canberra was the personal nature of the University. Everyone, both staff and students, is so approachable and welcoming. Gerard Elias Bachelor of Education (Primary), Canberra |
