ACU National students may be eligible to participate in the International Education Exchange program at an overseas institution with the written consent of their Course Coordinator provided:
* They meet the eligibility criteria
* They can match the needs of their ACU National degree, and
* They meet all other guidelines of the Immigration laws of the country they wish to study in, and agree to abide by the conditions, rules and regulations of both ACU National and the host institution.

Exchange Application Checklist
* Meet all ACU National submission deadlines and paperwork requirements
* Complete ACU National application form and requirements
* All submitted papers to be forwarded to the Exchange & Study Abroad Coordinator (details at the bottom of the page)
* Read the Outgoing Exchange Application Checklist for the complete list.

Pre-Submission
* ACU National Exchange application form
* Statement of motivation
* Official Transcript (copies/semester results sheets not sufficient) obtained from the Student Centre (fee applies)
* Include ACU National application fee

Post-Submission
* Complete all additional requirements of host institution or IEO
* Make initial enquiries about student visa applications for the country of application
* Pay all mandatory insurances requested by the host institution or the Government of that country.
* Confirm cover of all mandatory insurances and seriously consider extra insurance for travel, repatriation and emergency evacuation as recommended.

Visa requirements
International students studying at ACU National on an International Student Visa are required to have special permission from Australian Immigration prior to going on exchange.  Please confirm these requirements with the International Education Office at the time of application.
